Crystal Trio toured around Russiamarch, 6 - 28 `08

Spring is the time of growth, development time. March 9-28, 2008 Crystal Trio made a concert tour in the cities of Russia.

March 10 — Rjazan
March 11 — Tula
March 14 — Birobidjan
March 15 — Kchabarovsk
March 16 — Blagovechensk
March 21 — Rubtsovsk

Here are unusual musical instruments on the stage of Tula Philharmony. The  Glass Harp: rack, which exhibited and secured 35 glasses of different size. Near is even more strange construction, like a ‘mini-organ’ only with glass pipes. This is Verrophone (from the French ‘verrier’ — glass). And very strange looks hefty bass Pan Flute which made of the transparent tubes. Hard to believe that these items can extract sounds exact height and variety of tones, but Igor Sklyarov, Vladimir Popras and Vladimir Perminov do it masterfully.
Mozart, Boccherini, Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky — ‘transcriptions’ of popular classical works in the ‘glass’ version sounds magically...
